You know u are Bruneian...hmmm

Asalamualaikum :)

Yeah i know all of u think that this post is gonna be the same like the bruneiresources latest post hehe well actually, i'm gonna try and breakdown all the points on which i agree and disagree. This doesnt mean anything, its just an opinion from a Bruneian to another hehe and if u feel u're offended by this post, maaf zahir batin ( maseh Hari Raya kan :) ) ok here it goes...

You know you are Bruneian (Part 2)

1.You 'miss call' instead of calling or sending sms. (true this apllied to mostly teenagers yg kan save credit bah tu)

2.You always say "kapih ku.. bila terima/keluar gaji/overtime/elaun ah?" (yg benarnya tu, kalau cakap inda kapih tapi inda berduit beri malu jua kan)

3.You park your car as close as possible to your destination area. (yes i agree hehe pemalas bah ah)

4.You speak Malaysia if you meet Malaysian, speak Indonesia if you meet Indonesian.. and so on. (ok this is naturally in us, indakan kalau jumpa org indon ketani cakap brunei, inda jua dorang faham tu hehe tapi patutnya drama brunei atu jgntah kan cakap bahasa malay mcm inda original)

5.You are asked to go to a "meeting" but actually you will only be "listening". (ngam jgn lagi diubah)

6.You go to someone's wedding, you give money using an envelope and put your name on it or if .You think you don't give enough you use a blank envelope. (yeah dats true but i once saw $500 dlm blank envelope for my sister's wedding)

8.Indo mee is your staple food and Ayamku is your fastfood. (hmm indo mee yes, ayamku nope)
9.The term 'balik kampung' is almost not applicable.. since you can 'balik kampung' everyday. (hehe good one!)

10.Motorcyles and bicycles are not your transport, they are your sport. (atau berhabuk ampai2 dlm garage)

11.When you see local tv camera around you during the day, then at night you will watch local news... and hoping to see yourself on television. (haha i dont think so...desperate jua bunyinya)

12.You drive your car on wavy and potholed road. (awuuuu beri geram hati tu terkena lupak ah)
13.You receive official news faster by mean of "mouth" than by "written". (true!)

14.You like electronic products from Japan. (awuu sony kali ah)

15.If you have the chance to call a radio show and before you are asked to hang-up, you say 'boleh minta putarkan lagu?' (hahaha kesempatan dlm kesempitan)

16.You are in BIG debts and refuse to pay the lenders and yet still drive a CLK and live in a mansion. (lurus tu bergaya saja dorang tau)

17.You wear baju kurung with large katoks and maniks all over. (bernard chandran tu punya pasal)

18.You are loud and speak in melandih way. (hehe i agree)

19.You and the whole family have the same car plate numbers. (pasalnya lesen d brunei ani semua pendek2 jadinya sanang kan mentender)

20.You spend your $$$$$ on your wedding even though you are broke. (memanglah bukan ia kan kawin 2-3 kali)

21.You become Akademi Fantasia fanatics. (hehe c mawi tu punya pasal!)

22.You know most of the people here - "eh si anak si anu eh saudara si blabla". (everyone knows everyone in Brunei)

23.You drive to the shop next door even though the shop is only 100 meters away except maybe in Kampung Ayer. (hehe and again pemalasss aku pun catuuu)

24.Every year, since the 80s until last year, you don't want not to miss HM's Birthday Titah because you are hoping that HM will increase your salary. (banarkah tu? inda juaaa)

25.When you want to get some service from the government agencies, you will find your saudara first. (hehe kalau luar negeri dorang nada saudara d government agencies tu)

26.If something goes wrong, you will say that one of the datos, pehins is your relative or at least they know you. (hahaha thumbs up)

27.You cannot live without Brudirect's HYS. (nope not me...all cowards tu sana ah)

28.You give you children super long name. (awu supaya rugged!)

29.You rush to a new shopping mall just to beat everybody else even though it's just another Hua Ho. (yeah after 2-3 months kosong tia)

30.You wave your hand while driving to other drivers that you know. (inda d lambai krg kena ucap sombong...inda ja?)

31.You are able to pay (or not) for one or two amahs who are most likely an Indonesian or a Filipino. (Thais payah kan communicate hehe)

32.You are ok to be fat. (im fat and im not ok with it hehehe)

33.You are a busy body with other peoples' news, especially the bad ones, and you think your responsibility is to know and to spread it around. (ada jua lah tapi inda banyak eh)

34.Your friends get married on the same day and you don't know who to go to. (oh yesss heads or tail?)

35.You like to stare at phones for 24 hours and chat on MSN. (hehe malu eh)

36.You say "Mun paham bisai" this needs no further explaination . (yeah at first it was 'buleh kali ahhhh')

37.You have to wear 'cool' attire everywhere, even on holidays. (international tu eh bukan ketani saja)

38.You add "BUI" on each sentence. (hahaha wah lama sudah tu eh)

39.You think exercising, being hyper active, competition are for little kids. (entah ah all little kids are the same)

40.You can't type or spell properly properly, example "hw r u? hy my nme s si org brnui" (haha again just to save credit kali)

41.You add "me & you" on your converstations with your girl mates. (awulahhh gentleman bah tu...control macho!)

42.You listen to Pelangi FM. (i listen to my cd collections and i prefer Kristal FM)

43.You think fake Von Dutch products are the best. (fake maybe but Von Dutch i dont think so)

44.You are especially racist to Indian workers. (sadly, its true)

45.You would rather go to shopping malls than hanging out at parks, having a picnic with your friends. (ehhh panas tuuu baik ku beraircond d mall)

46.You have 'candas' in your house. (mestilah namanya kan pakai makan ambuyat...siasiapun eh)

47.You read this blogsite because all your friends are reading it and you don't want to be left behind. (ahem...awueh awueh)

48.You rush to get a $99 handphone not caring about the limited features coz you think anything cheap is a bargain. (hahaha sakai ah org Brunei ani baik jua alum ada yg free pakai contract)

49.You have two handphones - one for DST and the other for BMobile (for one month and then switch off one or the other). (yeah i agree banar tu!)

50.You always try to runding the policemen who caught you speeding. (nope i just pay the fine hehe)
